Exceptional
The room was a very good size. Location close to the ropeway. The food was excellent. The Onsen was a lovely experience.
The shower was a bit disappointing, compared to the high standards of rest of the facilities.

The dinner was absolutely amazing and way too much food for anyone but a sumo wrestler to eat. Very high quality it was great.

Great place to stay in Daisetsuzan.
Comfortable, breakfast and especially dinner are great. I arrived feeling unwell (it was a flu) and the staff was helpful bringing medicines, a cold band and a thermometer, and accomodating my partner in another room with no extra charge. Onsen is nice too. Close to the ropeway to Asahidake if you are there to hike one of the hyaku meizan in the area, as we did.
Lamps inside the rooms are low. It is OK for average Japanese people, but for a 1.90m (6f3") is not safe, I hit against it several times.

The food was excellent. Great location for bush walking.
